Insurance Consultant

About the role

The Insurance Consultant works at the SAS Toyota dealer in Duhok and promotes and sells Toyota Tamin insurance products to customers visiting the showroom. The role provides professional customer service, ensures accurate documentation and coordinates with insurance providers, contributing to customer satisfaction and departmental sales targets.

Key responsibilities

• Greet and assist customers in the showroom and identify their insurance needs.
• Explain available Toyota Tamin products, coverage options, features, benefits and terms.
• Respond professionally to customer questions about policies and coverage.
• Promote and sell insurance products in line with sales objectives and achieve monthly targets set by management.
• Recommend additional coverage and add-ons based on customer needs.
• Help customers complete applications and collect, review and verify documents for accuracy.
• Coordinate with insurance providers and internal departments so policies are processed and issued on time.
• Maintain daily records of sales, customer interactions and related activities.
• Follow up on renewals, inquiries and claims assistance when needed.
• Provide accurate insurance information to showroom and sales staff for vehicle sales packages.
• Keep up to date on products, regulations, company policies and procedures, and ensure compliance with legal and company requirements.
• Work with Sales, Service, Logistics, Finance, Marketing and HR & Admin, and perform other tasks asked by the Direct Supervisor.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration or a related field.
• Relevant experience in sales, insurance, customer service, automotive or a related field is preferred.
• Kurdish (native), English and Arabic (fluent).
