Cooling Product Manager (Refrigerators & Chest Freezers)

About the role

Haier is looking for a Cooling Product Manager to lead end-to-end product management for its refrigerators and chest freezers across the Iraq market. The role covers product strategy, certification, pricing, channel enablement, training, marketing execution and performance tracking, with the aim of driving product competitiveness, channel quality and profitable growth in line with regional business targets.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct market, competitor and user research to define the product lineup, positioning and pricing strategy for Iraq.
• Drive local certification compliance (ESMA/ECAS, EESL, CB, EMC) and manage test reports to ensure market entry and clearance.
• Analyze sales, margin and product mix, and optimize the portfolio to improve profitability and premium product share.
• Develop and deliver structured product training for IR/OR dealers, retail teams and direct sales staff, including product specs, competitive comparisons, selling points and installation guidelines, plus demo and tear-down workshops.
• Conduct after-sales installation training and build a professional service team to reduce installation-related issues.
• Define terminal standards such as SIS booth design, POP materials, display guidelines and a store grading system.
• Execute local marketing campaigns using sports IP, product demos and promotions, and manage the marketing budget and materials so branding stays consistent across outlets.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree or above in electrical engineering, mechanical engineering, business management or a related field.
• More than 3 years of home appliance sales and product management experience in Iraq-related industries.
• Proficiency in English, able to conduct independent business negotiations.
• Independent strategy and leadership, with strong organizational, coordination and communication skills, systematic thinking and decision-making.
• Ability to handle pressure and setbacks and willingness to accept challenges.
