ICT Officer (P) – Mobility Position

About the role

The International Organization for Migration (IOM) is seeking an experienced Information and Communications Technology (ICT) Officer (P) for its Iraq Country Office. This mobility position is part of IOM’s competitive internal recruitment exercise and will report to the Chief of Mission and the Head of Resources Management.

Key responsibilities

• Manage and coordinate the ICT unit in Iraq, ensuring timely and accurate delivery of services in line with IOM ICT policies and strategy.
• Engage with Country Office management, heads of units, and field operations to provide ICT solutions, including support for humanitarian emergencies.
• Oversee implementation of security and compliance controls under IOM’s global cybersecurity programme and donor requirements.
• Prepare ICT documentation such as Standard Operating Procedures, Business Continuity Plans, Disaster Recovery Plans, and risk records.
• Monitor service delivery, efficiency, and redundancy, ensuring compliance with global ICT SOPs.
• Conduct service improvement assessments and advise senior management on technical optimisations.

Required profile

• Works under the overall supervision of the Chief of Mission and direct supervision of the Head of Resources Management.
• Coordinates closely with the Regional ICT Officer and HQ ICT Information Security Unit.
