Human Resources Specialist

About the role

We are seeking a Human Resources Specialist to join our team in Baghdad. The role will support daily HR operations and help build a respectful, fair, and safe workplace within our fast‑growing renewable energy company.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain accurate employee records and HR documentation.
• Coordinate recruitment activities, including job posting, candidate screening and interview scheduling.
• Manage onboarding and off‑boarding processes to ensure smooth transitions.
• Monitor attendance, process related queries and support payroll preparation.
• Handle employee‑related administrative matters and respond to inquiries.
• Contribute to a professional, healthy and safe work environment built on respect and clear communication.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Human Resources or a related field (or equivalent practical experience).
• Strong knowledge of HR operations and local labor regulations.
• Experience in recruitment, onboarding, off‑boarding, record keeping and attendance management.
• People‑first mindset with ability to treat employee matters confidentially and fairly.
• Excellent communication, interpersonal and conflict‑resolution skills.
• High attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities.
• Fluency in Arabic; working knowledge of English is a plus.

Required skills

• Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
• Familiarity with HR information systems or similar HR software.
