Human Resources Manager – Erbil

About the role

Farrahi Carpet Co is seeking an experienced Human Resources Manager to lead its HR function in Erbil. This full‑time, on‑site position will shape recruitment, employee relations, performance management and benefits administration to support the company’s growth and culture.

Key responsibilities

• Develop, implement and continuously improve HR policies and procedures.
• Ensure compliance with local labor laws and regulatory requirements.
• Oversee end‑to‑end recruitment processes, from job posting to onboarding.
• Manage employee relations, addressing conflicts and fostering a positive work environment.
• Lead performance management cycles, including goal setting, reviews and development plans.
• Administer compensation, benefits and payroll systems.
• Design and deliver training programs to enhance skills and promote organizational development.
• Collaborate with senior leadership to align HR strategy with business objectives.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration or a related field (Master’s degree is a plus).
• Relevant HR certifications such as SHRM‑CP or PHR are advantageous.
• Proven experience in HR management, recruitment and employee relations.
• Strong knowledge of labor legislation and compliance requirements.
• Excellent interpersonal, communication and conflict‑resolution abilities.
• Leadership capability to influence and drive positive organizational change.
