Finance Manager

About the role

The Finance Manager leads and oversees the organization's financial operations to ensure financial sustainability, compliance and operational excellence. The role covers revenue assurance, cash management, accounting oversight, budgeting, financial analysis and team leadership, supporting informed decisions and the company's strategic objectives.

Key responsibilities

• Revenue assurance and billing: set up controls and monitoring for accurate revenue recognition, investigate revenue leakage and work with Sales, Billing and Technical teams on billing accuracy and pricing compliance.
• Cash management: supervise cashiers, enforce cash-handling procedures and internal controls, and ensure timely processing of payments, refunds and bank transactions.
• Accounting and reporting: lead the accounting team, review monthly, quarterly and annual closings, ensure compliance with local tax and reporting standards, and coordinate internal and external audits.
• Financial planning and analysis: prepare annual budgets, forecasts and business models, monitor OPEX and CAPEX, and provide management with performance reports and risk assessments.
• Team leadership: coach and develop the finance team and promote continuous improvement and financial governance.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting or a related field; a Master's is an advantage.
• CPA, ACCA or CMA certification highly preferred.
• At least 10 years of finance experience, including at least 5 years in a supervisory or managerial role.
• Previous experience in the ISP or telecommunications sector is highly desirable.

Required skills

• Knowledge of revenue assurance, billing systems, cash management and financial controls.
• Advanced Excel and ERP systems such as SAP, Oracle, QuickBooks or equivalent.
• Analytical, problem-solving and leadership abilities, with discretion handling confidential information.
