Economic Empowerment Pathways Consultant (SSTA)

About the role

The World Food Programme is seeking a consultant to support the design and implementation of Economic Empowerment Pathways policy and programming for Iraq. The position is remote with a targeted mission to Iraq and is funded under the SSTA (Strategic Support to the WFP) programme. The contract is for up to 11 months, working a maximum of 20 days per month.

Key responsibilities

• Support the development and implementation of Economic Empowerment Pathways policies and programmes in Iraq.
• Contribute to WFP’s social protection strategy and related programming.
• Provide technical input to policy documents, programme designs and monitoring frameworks.
• Collaborate with WFP country and regional teams and relevant Iraqi authorities.
