CRM Executive

About the role

Digital Zone, a fast‑growing digital payments and voucher platform operating in Iraq and expanding to Saudi Arabia and the UAE, is building its marketing team. The CRM Executive will own customer lifecycle marketing across mini‑apps and take over from the interim CRM Manager within three months.

Key responsibilities

• Plan and execute a monthly CRM calendar across push, in‑app, SMS, WhatsApp and email, and build lifecycle journeys such as onboarding, first purchase, repeat purchase, win‑back and re‑activation.
• Segment users by behaviour, product, spend, location and lifecycle stage; run A/B tests on messages, timing, offers and channels and report weekly on open, click, conversion, retention and churn metrics.
• Design promo codes, cashback and referral mechanics, monitor their cost, and collaborate with partnerships to secure brand offers.
• Coordinate placements and messaging with product teams, brief creatives, and feed customer‑support insights into campaigns.
• Take over CRM tools, playbooks, campaign calendar and reporting from the interim manager and document processes for independent operation.

Required profile

• 2‑4 years of experience in CRM, retention or lifecycle marketing within an app, e‑commerce, fintech, telecom or gaming company.
• Bachelor’s degree in marketing, business, IT or a related field.
• Hands‑on experience with a CRM or engagement platform such as MoEngage, CleverTap, Braze, Insider or HubSpot.
• Advanced proficiency with Excel or Google Sheets; basic SQL knowledge is a strong plus.
• Fluent in Arabic and English, based in Iraq and able to work from Baghdad.
