About the role
The Chef de Partie (CDP) will lead a dedicated kitchen station at Pasta Pot Restaurant in Erbil, preparing fresh pasta dishes and related menu items in line with brand standards. This full‑time, on‑site position offers the chance to work in a fast‑paced, guest‑focused environment while developing professional culinary skills.
Key responsibilities
- Prepare and cook pasta, sauces and quick‑service menu items following standardized recipes.
- Organise mise en place, operate kitchen equipment safely and maintain portion control.
- Monitor stock levels, rotate inventory and minimise waste.
- Ensure consistent quality, presentation and food safety during service.
- Support and train junior kitchen staff, fostering teamwork and hygiene compliance.
- Collaborate with the Head Chef and Sous Chef to introduce new menu items and optimise workflow during peak periods.
Required profile
- Proven experience as a Chef de Partie or in a similar kitchen‑section role.
- Strong knowledge of food safety, hygiene standards and kitchen sanitation.
- Ability to work efficiently under pressure and manage time effectively.
- Effective communication and a collaborative attitude toward colleagues.
- Flexibility to work shifts, weekends and holidays as required.
