Armed Guard – Emergency Response Team (Baghdad, Iraq)

About the role

The Armed Guard/Emergency Response Team (ERT) member provides routine security guard services while also serving on a quick‑reaction force ready to address security incidents inside a facility in Baghdad, Iraq. The role includes both static post duties and rapid‑deployment response to protect personnel, assets, and infrastructure.

Key responsibilities

• Stand ready as an interior quick‑response team member, deploying immediately to address security anomalies, breaches, or localized incidents.
• Conduct routine physical security monitoring, static post coverage, and rapid‑containment protocols.
• Support emergency response coordination, establish defensive cordons, and maintain strict access controls during elevated security conditions.
• Maintain situational awareness in extreme weather, chemical, or noise environments.

Required profile

• At least 21 years of age and a U.S. citizen.
• Proficient in spoken and written English.
• Clean driving record with a valid driver’s license.
• Ability to obtain a Secret Security Clearance.
• Minimum three years of military, law‑enforcement, or armed commercial guard experience involving physical security and access control.
• Pass medical, physical, drug, and psychological examinations and complete paid pre‑deployment training.
