Warehouse Supervisor

About the role

The Warehouse Supervisor is responsible for overseeing daily warehouse operations to ensure accurate, timely preparation, dispatch, and storage of goods. This role coordinates with sales, logistics, and fleet teams to maintain service quality and distribution efficiency while upholding safety and hygiene standards.

Key responsibilities

• Review sales orders, verify delivery dates, and schedule picking activities.
• Supervise picking, packing, and loading processes, ensuring item, quantity, and condition compliance.
• Coordinate with Warehouse Keepers and Forklift Drivers to receive, store, and dispatch goods according to warehouse layout and product categories.
• Generate and maintain receiving reports, inventory reports, and system updates in the SAP warehouse management system.
• Lead scheduled and unscheduled inventory counts and reconcile physical stock with system data.
• Monitor warehouse cleanliness, safety equipment, temperature zones, and report maintenance issues.
• Track employee attendance, leave requests, and ensure compliance with safety and hygiene policies.
• Act as the first point of contact for IT issues related to warehouse systems and follow up until resolution.
• Collaborate with internal teams (sales, logistics, finance) and the Fleet Team Leader to ensure smooth order fulfillment and timely dispatch.

Required profile

• Proven experience supervising warehouse or logistics operations.
• Strong knowledge of warehouse safety standards and food‑handling hygiene requirements.
• Ability to manage inventory accuracy and conduct physical stock reconciliations.
• Excellent coordination skills with cross‑functional teams and external partners.
• Attention to detail for documentation, reporting, and system data integrity.
