Technical Bidding Engineer

About the role

The Technical Bidding Engineer will manage and coordinate the technical side of tenders, bids and proposals from initial review through final submission. You will work closely with commercial, presales and engineering teams to ensure proposals are technically compliant, competitive and delivered on time.

Key responsibilities

• Review tender documents, scope of work, technical specifications, BOQs and submission requirements.
• Analyze tender requirements, identify mandatory technical conditions and prepare compliance matrices.
• Maintain a tender/bid tracker, monitor deadlines and coordinate the bidding process with the Commercial Bidding Officer.
• Develop technical proposals, solution architectures, equipment specifications and related documentation.
• Collaborate with technical teams to obtain designs, calculations and technical documentation.
• Verify quantities, specifications and accessories, and coordinate with procurement and vendors for quotations.
• Prepare tender compliance checklists, identify risks and ambiguities, and submit technical clarifications.
• Support the preparation of the commercial offer based on the approved technical solution.

Required profile

• Strong understanding of tender processes and technical specifications.
• Ability to analyse technical requirements and produce accurate compliance documentation.
• Experience coordinating with multiple internal teams (presales, engineering, procurement) and external vendors.
