Tajik Language Expert – Remote

About the role

We are looking for a native or near‑native Tajik speaker to help train next‑generation AI language models. You will provide high‑quality translations, editing and cultural insights that enable our systems to understand and generate Tajik accurately.

Key responsibilities

• Translate a wide range of content between English and Tajik with linguistic precision.
• Edit and proofread Tajik texts to ensure clarity, consistency and adherence to style guidelines.
• Collaborate with AI trainers and engineers to develop and refine Tajik language models.
• Create, review and curate data sets for model training and evaluation.
• Conduct linguistic analysis to identify and resolve usage discrepancies.
• Provide cultural and contextual insights to improve localization and natural language understanding.
• Deliver timely feedback and recommendations to enhance content quality and model performance.

Required profile

• Native or near‑native proficiency in Tajik, both written and spoken.
• Proven experience in translation, editing or related Tajik language projects.
• Strong attention to detail and passion for linguistic precision.
• Solid understanding of Tajik grammar, syntax and language structure.
• Familiarity with language‑technology tools and basic AI/NLP concepts.
• Ability to work independently in a remote, collaborative environment.
• Excellent organizational and time‑management skills.
