Site Scheduler

About the role

Wood is seeking an experienced Site Scheduler to join its Iraq Business Unit in Basra. The role is full‑time, on‑site with a 4‑weeks‑on/4‑weeks‑off rotation and includes travel to project sites.

Key responsibilities

• Develop, maintain and update project schedules in line with HSE policies and procedures.
• Coordinate with engineering, procurement and construction teams to ensure schedule integrity.
• Analyse actual construction progress and produce regular reporting on schedule performance.
• Identify critical path activities and recommend corrective actions to mitigate delays.
• Support the fast‑track Phase 1 project that restores and upgrades the existing plant, new export pipeline, flowlines and electrification network.

Required profile

• Proven experience as a Site Scheduler on large‑scale industrial or oil‑and‑gas projects.
• Strong understanding of project planning principles and HSE compliance.
• Ability to work on a rotating shift schedule and travel as required.
