Senior Operations Associate

About the role

The Senior Operations Associate will drive both pre‑launch field engagement and ongoing route‑level operations for a logistics platform. You will build relationships with supply‑side and demand‑side participants, ensure smooth dispatch processes, and provide actionable insights to senior leadership.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct field interviews with market participants on target routes during the first six weeks, gathering pricing, operational parameters, and market practices.
• Participate in ride‑alongs and on‑ground validation exercises, documenting real‑world conditions that shape the platform’s launch configuration.
• Schedule, coordinate, and log all field activities in a shared pipeline tracker.
• Serve as the primary point of contact for participants on assigned routes, building trust, resolving issues, and maintaining active transactions.
• Support daily dispatch operations through the platform’s admin layer, monitoring load status and managing exceptions such as delays or disputes.
• Onboard new participants, leading verification, platform setup, and first‑transaction support.
• Track and report route‑level performance metrics, including coverage, time‑to‑match, on‑time rate, and exception volume.
• Confirm transaction reconciliation for participants and escalate any discrepancies.
• Provide regular intelligence to the Director of Operations on friction points, participant feedback, and emerging route dynamics.
• Administer cold‑start incentives, communicating guarantee terms and flagging anomalies.

Required profile

• Proven experience in operations or logistics coordination, preferably in a field‑based role.
• Strong relationship‑building skills with both supply‑side and demand‑side stakeholders.
• Excellent organizational abilities to manage multiple routes and track detailed metrics.
• Analytical mindset to synthesize field data into actionable insights.
