Senior Network Engineer – Design & Secure Complex Infrastructures

About the role

Objectway is seeking a Senior Network Engineer to design, implement and manage sophisticated network infrastructures that support its global wealth‑management software platform. The role ensures high availability, security and performance across all systems while collaborating with cross‑functional IT teams.

Key responsibilities

• Plan, design and deploy LAN, WAN and cloud connectivity solutions.
• Install, configure and maintain network hardware, software and security measures.
• Diagnose and resolve complex performance issues, hardware failures and software problems.
• Implement and manage firewalls, intrusion detection systems and other security controls.
• Create and maintain technical documentation, network diagrams and status reports.
• Lead and mentor junior network engineers.
• Research and evaluate emerging networking technologies to improve efficiency and security.

Required profile

• Minimum 5 years of experience as a Senior Network Engineer.
• Proven experience with L3 routing protocols (EIGRP, OSPF, BGP, MPLS).
• Strong knowledge of L2 switching protocols (VLAN, STP, VTP, L2TP).
• Hands‑on experience with wireless network design and troubleshooting.
• Experience configuring Cisco ASA/Firepower FTD and Fortinet firewalls.
• Deep familiarity with Cisco Nexus, Catalyst 9000, ISR/ASR/CSR routers and Dell switches.
• Knowledge of data‑center networking (VTEP, VXLAN, BGP L2VPN EVPN).
• Basic to intermediate experience with SDN solutions such as VMware NSX‑T.
• Comfortable working in virtual environments (vSphere, VM creation/import, CloudStack).
