Senior Draftsman

About the role

We are looking for a Senior Draftsman to create, modify and maintain detailed technical drawings for construction and engineering projects. The role supports project teams from concept through to as‑built documentation, ensuring accuracy and compliance with standards and client requirements.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare detailed engineering and construction drawings using AutoCAD, Revit or other drafting software.
• Develop shop, fabrication and as‑built drawings for project execution.
• Interpret sketches, specifications, calculations and design concepts provided by engineers and consultants.
• Revise and update drawings based on comments, design changes and site requirements.
• Coordinate with engineers, architects, project managers and site teams to ensure drawing accuracy.
• Ensure all drawings comply with project specifications, company standards and local regulations.
• Prepare layouts, elevations, sections, details and schedules as required.
• Maintain proper records of drawings, revisions and document control procedures.
• Assist in material take‑offs and quantity calculations from drawings.
• Conduct site visits when necessary to verify dimensions and gather field information.
• Support project teams by providing technical drafting assistance throughout the project lifecycle.
• Ensure timely submission of drawings to meet project deadlines.

Required profile

• Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Civil, Architectural, Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
• Minimum 3‑5 years of relevant drafting experience.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD is mandatory.
• Knowledge of Revit, BIM, Navisworks or other drafting software is an advantage.
• Experience in construction, infrastructure, oil & gas, power or industrial projects preferred.
