Sales Officer

About the role

Tarish, an AI‑powered delivery platform, is seeking a motivated Sales Officer to expand its merchant network across Baghdad. You will be responsible for onboarding new merchants, re‑activating existing partners, and driving daily order volume.

Key responsibilities

• Identify and approach potential merchants such as restaurants, shops, and other businesses.
• Convert leads into active users on the Tarish platform.
• Build and maintain strong client relationships to ensure long‑term partnership.
• Follow up with merchants regularly to increase their activity and order volume.
• Achieve monthly sales targets set by the management team.
• Coordinate with the operations team to guarantee smooth service delivery.
• Represent Tarish professionally in the market and at merchant events.

Required profile

• Strong communication and persuasion abilities.
• Proven experience in sales or field marketing.
• Ability to work under targets and pressure.
• Good time‑management and organizational skills.
• Basic understanding of delivery or logistics platforms (preferred).
• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field (preferred).
• Bonus: experience with delivery apps (e.g., Talabat, Careem) and an existing network of merchants.
