Sales Manager

About the role

This full‑time, on‑site Sales Manager position in Erbil leads a sales team to achieve revenue, margin and growth targets while maintaining high standards of customer service. The role combines strategic planning, performance tracking and close collaboration with cross‑functional teams to drive business success.

Key responsibilities

• Set sales plans, forecasts and KPIs; track performance against targets.
• Prepare regular sales reports for senior leadership.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients and identify new market opportunities.
• Oversee the complete sales cycle from prospecting to closing.
• Collaborate with marketing, operations and finance to align sales activities with company strategy and ensure efficient order, delivery and after‑sales processes.

Required profile

• Proven experience in sales management or a similar leadership role with a track record of meeting or exceeding targets.
• Strong team‑leadership, coaching, performance‑management and conflict‑resolution abilities.
• Solid understanding of sales planning, pipeline management, forecasting and CRM tools.
• Excellent communication, presentation and negotiation skills in professional business settings.
• Ability to analyse market trends, customer needs and competitor activities.
• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing or a related field preferred; equivalent practical experience considered.
• Organisational and time‑management skills with the ability to prioritise multiple accounts and projects.
