Sales Manager

About the role

The Sales Manager for Iraq will drive business growth for Kerry by expanding relationships with key customers in the beverage and bakery end‑user markets. Reporting to the Senior Sales Manager, the role combines technical knowledge with commercial acumen to deliver customized solutions, meet sales quotas, and achieve strategic account objectives.

Key responsibilities

• Understand customer objectives and growth strategies in beverage and bakery markets, identifying new opportunities and customers.
• Develop account plans with strong proof points and secure validation from customers.
• Lead cross‑functional resources to enhance customer experience and drive business growth.
• Manage annual financial budgets, forecasts, and key performance indicators.
• Maintain opportunity pipeline aligned with business strategy, focusing on margin, profitability, and portfolio mix.
• Oversee commercial pricing, contract management, and risk mitigation.
• Enter and maintain customer and pipeline data in internal systems such as Salesforce (SFDC).
• Own demand forecasting and continuous improvement metrics.
• Provide market, competitor, and customer insights to shape end‑use market strategy.
• Collaborate with internal departments to improve service levels, enablement, and engagement.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree or higher; a background in Food Technology or Science is a plus.
• Minimum of 5 years’ relevant experience in beverage and bakery sales.
• Proven ability to manage strategic accounts and deliver sales targets.
• Strong analytical mindset with experience in budgeting, forecasting, and pipeline management.

Required skills

• Proficiency with Salesforce (SFDC) for data management.
