About the role
The Sales Manager for Iraq will drive business growth for Kerry by expanding relationships with key customers in the Beverage and Bakery end‑user markets. Based in Baghdad, the role combines technical expertise with commercial acumen to develop customized solutions, achieve sales quotas, and meet strategic account objectives.
Key responsibilities
- Understand customer objectives and growth strategies in Beverage and Bakery markets, identifying new opportunities and customers.
- Develop account plans with strong proof points and validate them with customers.
- Lead customers by leveraging cross‑functional resources to enhance experience and drive business growth.
- Manage annual financial budgets, forecasts, and key performance indicators.
- Maintain opportunity pipeline aligned with business strategy and financial metrics (GM%, profitability, portfolio mix).
- Oversee commercial pricing, contract management, and margin protection.
- Enter and manage customer and pipeline data in internal systems such as SFDC.
- Own demand forecasting and continuous improvement metrics.
- Provide market, competitor, and customer insights to shape business strategy.
- Collaborate with internal departments to improve customer service, enablement, and engagement.
Required profile
- Bachelor’s degree or higher in a related field; Food Technology or science is a plus.
- At least 5 years of relevant experience in the Beverage and Bakery sectors.
Required skills
- Experience using SFDC (Salesforce) for customer and pipeline data management.
