Sales Development Associate – Prospecting & Merchant Acquisition

About the role

We are looking for a motivated Sales Development Associate to join our team in Baghdad. The role focuses on prospecting new merchants, acquiring clients and supporting business growth through effective outreach and relationship building.

Key responsibilities

• Identify and acquire new merchants and clients through cold outreach and follow‑up.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with prospects and existing customers.
• Negotiate and persuade potential customers to achieve sales targets.
• Work towards defined KPIs and branch objectives.
• Maintain accurate records and updates in CRM systems.
• Represent the company professionally with a customer‑oriented approach.

Required profile

• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Confidence engaging with merchants and potential clients.
• Good negotiation and persuasion abilities.
• Organizational and time‑management skills.
• Professional, positive and customer‑focused attitude.
• Willingness to learn, develop and grow within the company.
• Previous sales experience (preferred).
