Receiving Agent

About the role

We are looking for a motivated Receiving Agent to join our team at Slemani Rotana. The role ensures that all goods arriving at the hotel are inspected, recorded and delivered to the appropriate departments while meeting quality, safety and policy standards.

Key responsibilities

• Verify that all received items match the LPO, hotel policies and hygiene standards.
• Physically inspect goods for count, weight and other visible specifications before acceptance.
• Deliver inspected goods to the relevant department and obtain acknowledgment from the department head or representative.
• Review supplier invoices for originality, numbering, itemisation and accuracy, and acknowledge satisfactory delivery with the hotel seal and signature.
• Process supplier invoices in FBM promptly and according to standards.
• Review and process Deviations and Outstanding Order reports on a weekly basis.
• Monitor outgoing records for serial control, identify outstanding items and report them to department heads.
• Maintain a manual and computer filing system with proper naming, cataloguing and restricted access.
• Operate safely and in an environmentally friendly manner, complying with health, safety and environmental policies.

Required profile

• Degree in hotel management or accounting.
• At least one year of experience in a hotel environment.
• Excellent verbal and written English communication skills.
• Strong computer literacy; familiarity with hotel and accounting software is an asset.
