Prospects Coordination Associate

About the role

The Prospects Coordination Associate will support UNICEF Iraq’s PROSPECTS partnership, a programme aimed at improving the long‑term prospects of displaced populations and host communities. Based in Iraq, the role focuses on coordination, knowledge management and storytelling, with a strong emphasis on youth inclusion, resilience and social cohesion.

Key responsibilities

• Facilitate coordination and information sharing across PROSPECTS pillars and partner organisations.
• Organise coordination meetings, consolidate inputs and follow up on action points.
• Assist in monitoring programme implementation, tracking progress and results.
• Document activities, lessons learned and good practices.
• Develop clear narratives and stories that showcase programme impact, especially for youth.
• Promote alignment and integration of activities across sectors and programme components.
• Support administrative and operational tasks related to workshops, meetings and field activities.

Required profile

• Secondary education; further studies in social sciences or related fields are an asset.
• Minimum 1 year of relevant experience in programme support, coordination or community engagement.
• Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work with diverse partners, including youth groups.

What we offer

• Pre‑assignment entry lump sum of USD 350.
• Relocation allowance of USD 175 at the start and end of the assignment (if applicable).
• Volunteer living allowance of USD 1 379.33 per month.
• Annual leave accrual of 2.5 days per month.
• Comprehensive health, life and malicious‑act insurance for the volunteer and health coverage for up to three eligible dependents.
