Programme Coordinator – PRSD Coordination Unit

About the role

The International Organization for Migration (IOM) is seeking a Programme Coordinator for its Peace, Recovery & Solutions Division (PRSD) Coordination Unit in Iraq. Reporting to the PRSD Head and working closely with the Chief of Mission, the incumbent will lead the unit’s administrative, operational, financial and budgetary activities, ensuring alignment with IOM policies and donor requirements.

Key responsibilities

• Manage day‑to‑day administrative and operational functions of the PRSD Coordination Unit.
• Oversee financial management, budgeting, and reporting for PRSD programmes.
• Develop, review and clear funding proposals, donor reports and advocacy products.
• Coordinate with Country Office, Regional Office and Headquarters units to ensure coherence across PRSD thematic areas.
• Support the preparation of divisional planning documents and monitor implementation against IOM standards.

Required profile

• Relevant university degree or equivalent professional experience in programme management, public administration, or a related field.
• Demonstrated experience in coordinating multi‑stakeholder programmes, preferably in migration, humanitarian or development contexts.
• Strong understanding of donor funding cycles, reporting requirements and budget monitoring.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with ability to work in a multicultural environment.
