Procurement Specialist

About the role

The Procurement Specialist supports daily purchasing activities for Sardar Group, sourcing goods and services, managing quotations, and ensuring timely delivery while adhering to company policies and cost‑efficiency goals.

Key responsibilities

• Process purchase requisitions and generate purchase orders according to procedures.
• Obtain, compare and evaluate quotations from approved vendors to secure best value.
• Follow up on order approvals, vendor confirmations and delivery timelines.
• Communicate with suppliers to confirm availability, lead times and delivery status.
• Assist in supplier registration, documentation collection and maintain accurate procurement records.
• Address routine issues related to product quality, delays or order discrepancies.
• Maintain organized physical and digital procurement files, ready for audit.
• Update procurement trackers and report market price changes to the supervisor.
• Coordinate with warehouse and other departments to ensure timely receipt of items.
• Support processing of returns or exchanges for incorrect or damaged goods.
• Ensure compliance with internal procurement policies and report irregularities.
• Participate in department meetings and collaborate on cross‑functional procurement matters.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, Engineering or related field.
• Minimum 3 years of procurement experience, preferably with international business entities.
• Willingness to travel up to 25 % of the time for supplier visits or site coordination.

Required skills

• Proficiency with procurement/ERP software such as SAP or ODOO.
• Strong command of Microsoft Office applications.
