Portfolio Manager

About the role

The Portfolio Manager will lead the marketing strategy for Julphar’s pharmaceutical products across Iraq, driving revenue growth and market penetration. Working closely with the Country Manager and sales leaders, you will shape strategic direction and support the sales team to achieve targets.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and implement tailored marketing strategies and tactical sales plans for all therapeutic lines.
• Execute promotional activities, advertising placements, and product life‑cycle management.
• Conduct market trend analysis, competitive advertising reviews, and field surveys with doctors, pharmacists and KOLs.
• Manage budgets, allocate resources across projects, and ensure alignment with global marketing initiatives.
• Increase distribution depth and sales of existing products while launching new offerings.
• Perform monthly business reviews with local sales and line managers to monitor performance against plans.

Required profile

• Proven experience in pharmaceutical marketing and sales support.
• Strong analytical skills for market and therapeutic area analysis.
• Ability to collaborate with cross‑functional teams and senior leadership.
• Excellent communication skills for stakeholder engagement.
