Planning & Control Analyst

About the role

Halliburton is seeking a Planning & Control Analyst to join its project management team in Basra, Iraq. The role focuses on measuring, analyzing and interpreting project performance data to support operational efficiency and profitability.

Key responsibilities

• Leverage data sources such as approved business cases, baselines, management plans, Open Wells reports, financials and resource utilization.
• Measure, analyze and interpret variances and trends across scope, schedule, cost and risk.
• Collaborate with project teams and stakeholders to identify improvement areas and develop corrective action plans.
• Provide insightful analysis to project managers and senior leadership for decision‑making and strategy development.
• Offer financial, contractual and project‑based guidance with a focus on well engineering operations.

Required profile

• Undergraduate STEM degree.
• Minimum 6 years of experience in operations and engineering.
• Exposure to multi‑discipline operations is preferred.
