Onboarding Specialist – Restaurant POS Implementation

About the role

The Onboarding Specialist is the field executor of Eatix’s restaurant onboarding process. You will visit newly contracted restaurants, install the POS hardware and software, configure menus, and train staff to ensure a smooth launch of the Eatix system.

Key responsibilities

• Install Eatix hardware (POS device, tablet, KDS) and configure software on site.
• Set up menu items, categories, pricing, modifiers, payment methods, and user accounts according to each restaurant’s requirements.
• Deliver hands‑on training to cashiers, waiters, kitchen staff and managers, confirming they can operate the system independently.
• Complete the official installation checklist and obtain signatures from the technician and the restaurant owner/manager.
• Ensure the restaurant processes its first live transaction during or immediately after training.
• Create a WhatsApp support group, provide printed training materials, and follow up within 48 hours to confirm system stability.
• Log all installation activities daily in ClickUp and report technical issues or feature gaps to the Head of Merchant Management.

Required profile

• 1–3 years of experience in a technical or customer‑onboarding role.
• Comfortable with hardware installation and basic software configuration.
• Excellent interpersonal skills for direct interaction with restaurant owners and staff.
• Fluent in Arabic; basic English is a plus.
• Based in Baghdad with personal transport or willingness to travel across zones.
