Mechanical Technician – Automotive Maintenance

About the role

The Mechanical Technician will join the Jaguar Land Rover service team in Erbil, performing maintenance and repair work on a range of vehicles. You will ensure all tasks are completed safely, accurately and within the allocated time frames.

Key responsibilities

• Execute maintenance and repair tasks following manufacturers’ manuals, checklists and SOPs.
• Identify mechanical issues manually or with computerized diagnostic tools.
• Document all service and installation activities on job cards, forms and logs.
• Maintain workshop tools and equipment in good condition and keep the workshop clean and organized.
• Communicate with clients about work performed, vehicle condition and future repair needs.
• Ensure vehicles are returned to customers clean and in proper order.
• Report unsafe conditions and any tasks that may exceed scheduled time to the supervisor.

Required profile

• BSc degree or Diploma in Mechanical, Automotive or Mechatronic Engineering or a related field.
• Fluency in English, Arabic and Kurdish.
• Adaptability, effective communication, teamwork orientation and professional passion.
