MEAL Manager – Erbil, Kurdistan Region

About the role

The MEAL Manager leads SEED’s Monitoring, Evaluation, Accountability and Learning (MEAL) functions, ensuring robust, integrated systems that generate high‑quality data, measure performance and impact, and support evidence‑based decision‑making. Reporting to the President and working closely with senior management and program teams, the role drives continuous learning, accountability, and safeguarding across all projects.

Key responsibilities

• Design, implement and continuously strengthen SEED’s MEAL systems and data management platforms, including CommCare.
• Oversee program data collection, ensure data integrity, consistency and accessibility across all initiatives.
• Manage the MEAL team, providing technical guidance and capacity‑building for staff.
• Produce high‑quality donor reports, impact narratives and external communications based on evidence.
• Integrate participant and community feedback into program design and improvement.
• Ensure compliance with safeguarding and accountability standards.
• Support external engagement and representation through evidence‑based outputs.

Required profile

• Proven experience designing and managing MEAL systems in NGOs or development programmes.
• Ability to work collaboratively with senior leadership, program staff and external partners.
• Strong analytical mindset with a focus on data‑driven learning.
