Key Account Executive – Retail Sales (Baghdad)

About the role

The Key Account Executive will manage and grow the company’s premium retail product portfolio through key retailer and wholesaler accounts in Baghdad. The role focuses on building strong client relationships, negotiating trade terms, and ensuring optimal product presence and sales performance across assigned accounts.

Key responsibilities

• Manage and grow relationships with assigned retailer and wholesaler accounts to maximize sales and brand presence.
• Identify and onboard new retail and wholesale accounts to expand market coverage.
• Negotiate listings, shelf space, and product placement with buyers.
• Conduct periodic business reviews to assess performance, address issues, and align on growth plans.
• Manage trade terms, pricing agreements, and discount structures in line with company guidelines.
• Coordinate with internal teams to implement pricing, promotions, and trade agreements.
• Monitor inventory levels and coordinate replenishment orders to maintain optimal stock.
• Achieve sales targets and increase revenue across assigned accounts.
• Forecast demand and support accurate stock and supply planning.
• Monitor client statements, issue credit notes, and collect invoices to meet collection targets.
• Collect market data on competitors and prepare regular performance reports.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field.
• 2–5 years of experience in key account management, wholesale, or retail sales, preferably within premium consumer goods.
• Fluent in Arabic and English; Kurdish is a plus.
• Excellent negotiation, selling, and relationship‑management abilities.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Learning‑oriented with a drive to continuously enhance knowledge.
• Well‑developed organizational and time‑management skills.
