ISSTI Manager – Strategic Leadership

About the role

The ISSTI Manager provides strategic leadership and overall management of the Institute of Science, Technology and Innovation (ISSTI). Reporting to senior university leadership, the role shapes the vision, priorities and long‑term direction of ISSTI while ensuring effective implementation of its mission to advance scientific research, technological innovation and national development.

Key responsibilities

• Lead long‑term strategic initiatives aligned with national priorities.
• Oversee scientific, technological and innovation programs, research projects, workshops and conferences.
• Advise senior leadership on strategic opportunities and risks.
• Establish KPIs, monitor performance and evaluate impact.
• Manage committees, staff and multidisciplinary project teams.
• Ensure compliance with administrative, financial and legal requirements.
• Build and maintain partnerships with academic, governmental and industry stakeholders.

Required profile

• Minimum 7–10 years of progressive leadership experience.
• Bachelor’s degree in science, engineering, technology, management or a related field.
• Proven experience in strategic planning and organizational management.
• Excellent communication, decision‑making and stakeholder‑engagement skills.
• High integrity, professionalism and commitment to ISSTI’s mission.
