Iraq Account Manager

About the role

The Iraq Account Manager will be the primary liaison for our clients in the renewable energy sector, driving strategic relationships and expanding our market presence across solar, storage and hybrid projects. This role combines business development, project oversight and company representation to ensure long‑term partnership success.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and maintain strong relationships with developers, EPCs, utilities and other key stakeholders in Iraq.
• Negotiate agreements and contracts to secure long‑term business partnerships.
• Design and implement commercial strategies to grow the company’s footprint in solar, storage and hybrid solutions.
• Identify new market opportunities, conduct trend analysis and position the company competitively.
• Oversee project stages from bidding through implementation, managing technical, operational and financial risks.
• Represent the company at trade fairs, conferences and networking events.
• Monitor performance of initiatives and coordinate with international teams to align with global objectives.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Business Administration, Renewable Energy or related field (MBA preferred).
• Minimum 4 years of proven experience as an account manager in the PV and/or ESS sector.
• Willingness to travel as required.
• Existing relationships with utility companies in Iraq are a plus.

Required skills

• In‑depth understanding of photovoltaic (PV) systems.
• Knowledge of energy storage solutions (ESS).
