Driver

About the role

The Driver is responsible for the safe, reliable and timely transportation of authorized personnel and, when required, cargo or hazardous goods. The role demands professionalism, courtesy and discretion while interacting with individuals from diverse cultural backgrounds.

Key responsibilities

• Provide safe and punctual transport for staff, including airport pick‑up and assistance with immigration and customs formalities.
• Collect and deliver mail, documents and other items as needed.
• Maintain accurate daily vehicle logs and support maintenance planning.
• Perform routine vehicle checks (oil, water, battery, brakes, tires) and ensure vehicles remain in good working order.
• Carry out minor repairs, coordinate major repairs and keep vehicles clean and roadworthy.
• Manage vehicle documentation such as insurance, registration, maps, first‑aid kit and spare parts.
• Respond promptly to accidents in line with organisational procedures.
• Assist administrative services with procurement of office supplies, inventory management and minor facility repairs.
• Support facility management by liaising with service providers and monitoring equipment performance.
