About the role

We are looking for a dynamic, quick‑thinking Content Creator to join our digital media team. You will transform traditional broadcast journalism into engaging, digital‑first storytelling for a diverse audience across Instagram, X, TikTok, Facebook and YouTube.

Key responsibilities

• Pitch, shoot, and edit short‑form videos, graphics and interactive media for Instagram, X, TikTok, Facebook and YouTube.
• Adapt on‑air regional and international news into digital‑first formats in close collaboration with editorial and broadcast teams.
• Write accurate, engaging captions, headlines and copy that maintain journalistic standards.
• Manage daily posting schedule across all social channels, ensuring timely delivery of breaking news.
• Monitor performance metrics, analyse audience behaviour and optimise content strategy.
• Stay up‑to‑date with platform algorithms, trends and emerging storytelling techniques.

Required profile

• Minimum 3 years of experience in digital content creation, social media management or digital journalism, preferably within a newsroom or broadcasting environment.
• Strong understanding of news cycles, media ethics and the ability to work under tight deadlines.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Highly organised, able to juggle multiple breaking priorities and work collaboratively across departments.
