Commissioning Manager

About the role

The Commissioning Manager will lead the planning and execution of commissioning activities for large‑scale oil & gas and industrial facilities. This role ensures safe, on‑time delivery of pressure systems, process lines, vessels and flare systems while coordinating across engineering, construction, operations and vendor teams.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and implement the Commissioning Execution Plan (CEP) and detailed commissioning schedules.
• Define system boundaries and prepare system completion plans (MC/SC/RFSU).
• Coordinate with engineering, construction, operations and vendor teams to align commissioning scope and readiness.
• Manage commissioning activities for pressure systems, process lines, vessels and flare systems.
• Oversee hydrocarbon release management during initial gas‑in, pressurization and system commissioning.
• Lead the commissioning team and ensure all activities comply with safety and project standards.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree or higher in chemical, process, mechanical or instrumentation engineering.
• Minimum 15 years of experience in pre‑commissioning and commissioning of oil & gas or industrial facilities.
• At least 5 years of hands‑on experience with OPERCOM and ICAPS commissioning systems.
• Extensive oil & gas industry background with a proven track record in large‑scale project commissioning.
• Proficient in English as a working language; Chinese or expatriate nationality acceptable.
