About the role
We are looking for a passionate and dynamic kitchen professional to join our culinary team as a Commis II. In this position you will support daily food preparation, maintain high hygiene standards, and contribute to delivering exceptional guest experiences.
Key responsibilities
- Assist the Demi Chef de Partie or Commis I in daily kitchen operations.
- Prepare mise‑en‑place and produce food across various sections of the main kitchen and satellite stations.
- Follow menu specifications set by the Chef de Partie and adhere to hotel hygiene rules.
- Control food stock and monitor food cost within your section.
- Implement instructions from supervisors to complete daily tasks.
- Maintain consistent quality, stay updated on new products, recipes, and techniques.
- Coordinate with other sections on cleanliness, waste reduction, and cost control.
Required profile
- Completed a professional kitchen apprenticeship or chef training course.
- Previous experience in reputable establishments with solid culinary skills.
- Fluent English communication.
- Proven knowledge of food preparation, presentation, and preservation.
- Positive, dynamic, creative, and dedicated team player.
- Ability to work in a multicultural environment and under pressure.
- Core competencies: understanding the job, taking responsibility, recognizing differences, customer focus, adaptability, teamwork.
