Assistant Branch Manager

About the role

We are looking for an experienced Assistant Branch Manager to support the Branch Manager in daily operations, drive business growth, ensure regulatory compliance, and deliver outstanding customer service. The role also acts as the Branch Manager during their absence.

Key responsibilities

• Supervise branch operations, cash management, customer service, and operational controls.
• Ensure compliance with CBI regulations, AML/KYC requirements, and internal policies.
• Support achievement of branch sales targets and business development initiatives.
• Coach, supervise, and develop branch staff to enhance performance and customer experience.
• Monitor branch performance, operational risks, and service quality standards.
• Handle customer escalations and ensure timely resolution of complaints.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business Administration, Accounting, Economics, or a related field.
• 5–7 years of banking experience, including at least 2 years in a supervisory role.
• Strong experience in retail banking and branch operations.

Required skills

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
• Experience with Core Banking systems.
