Asset Manager – Oil & Gas Production

About the role

The Asset Manager is responsible for the overall management, performance and value delivery of an oil and gas asset operating under an integrated asset management (IAM) production enhancement contract. Reporting directly to the client, the role leads a multi‑discipline technical team to optimise production, manage field development and ensure safe, efficient and sustainable operations aligned with strategic and commercial objectives.

Key responsibilities

• Provide overall leadership in executing the asset’s integrated management plan to meet production, cost and HSE targets.
• Lead multi‑discipline teams covering production operations, maintenance, facilities engineering, subsurface, drilling, HSE and supply chain.
• Drive daily and long‑term production optimisation through coordination of field, well, subsurface and drilling activities.
• Identify and manage operational and contractual risks to protect asset value.
• Plan and execute large‑scale field development or re‑development programmes under challenging conditions.
• Maintain financial performance (P/L) of the assigned asset through effective resource planning and value‑adding technologies.
• Serve as the primary interface with partners for project operations and represent the company in technical and commercial matters.
• Ensure technical quality of work and administer contract provisions related to execution.
• Contribute to value creation through cost control, technical innovation, increased production and improved hydrocarbon recovery.
