Accounting Manager – FMCG & Retail

About the role

Ezma Holding seeks an experienced Accounting Manager to lead the finance function in a fast‑paced FMCG and retail environment. You will be responsible for ensuring accurate financial reporting, compliance, and continuous process improvement while guiding a high‑performing team.

Key responsibilities

• Coach, mentor and develop a team of accountants, setting clear performance expectations.
• Manage dynamic workloads and align the team with shifting business priorities.
• Oversee the full accounts payable cycle, from purchase order matching to payment runs.
• Manage accounts receivable, invoicing, collections, credit control and cash‑flow monitoring.
• Own the general ledger, reviewing and approving journal entries, accruals and reclassifications.
• Control the fixed‑assets register, including additions, disposals, depreciation and physical verification.
• Handle intercompany transactions and reconciliations across entities.
• Lead month‑end and year‑end close processes with accuracy and timeliness.
• Maintain a strong internal control environment and ensure regulatory compliance.
• Drive continuous improvement of accounting policies and processes.
• Collaborate with operations, HR and executive leadership.

Required profile

• 7–10 years of progressive accounting experience, including 3–5 years in a leadership role.
• Proven ability to develop and manage teams in fast‑changing environments.
• Hands‑on experience across the full accounting cycle (AP, AR, GL, payroll, fixed assets, bank reconciliations).
• Strong knowledge of IFRS and local GAAP compliance requirements.
• Experience with ERP systems such as SAP, Oracle or QuickBooks.
• Coaching mindset with composure under pressure and decisive decision‑making.
• Excellent communication skills at all organizational levels.
