Accountant – Financial Operations

About the role

The Accountant will manage day‑to‑day financial operations for Medes Air, ensuring accurate recording of transactions, maintenance of the general ledger and timely reconciliation of accounts. This full‑time, on‑site position supports the finance team in reporting, budgeting and cash‑flow monitoring.

Key responsibilities

• Record financial transactions and maintain the general ledger.
• Reconcile bank statements, accounts payable and receivable.
• Prepare and review monthly, quarterly and annual financial reports.
• Assist in budgeting, forecasting and basic financial analysis.
• Monitor cash flow and support month‑end and year‑end closing activities.
• Collaborate with other departments to provide financial insights for decision‑making.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance or a related field.
• Strong knowledge of general accounting, financial reporting and account reconciliation.
• Experience with budgeting, forecasting and basic financial analysis.
• Familiarity with local accounting standards and regulations.
• Attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines in a fast‑paced environment.
• Professional certification (e.g., CPA) is an advantage.
• Prior experience in travel, tourism or service industry is a plus.
