VAS Operations Officer

About the role

The VAS Operations Officer will join ZainCash’s fast‑growing operations team, ensuring smooth handling of customer inquiries and transaction issues for the mobile wallet platform. You will act as a key point of contact, maintaining service continuity and supporting the company’s mission to deliver reliable digital financial services across Iraq.

Key responsibilities

• Resolve customer inquiries and transaction‑related issues promptly to minimise service disruptions.
• Manage end‑to‑end case lifecycle across multiple communication channels and ticketing systems, keeping accurate records for audit purposes.
• Utilise internal operational systems and core platforms to process requests and troubleshoot technical or transactional problems.
• Prepare and analyse operational reports, monitor performance metrics, identify trends and support data‑driven decision making.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field.
• Minimum 1 year of experience in operations, preferably within financial services.
• Experience in related sectors such as banking, fintech, e‑payment, ISP or e‑commerce.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills in both English and Arabic.
