Subsurface Technical Manager

About the role

Under broad direction, you will lead a multi‑discipline petrotechnical team to evaluate and develop large‑scale oil and gas field projects. The focus is on challenging development environments where Halliburton’s technology can improve recovery efficiency, increase production, and reduce cost per unit of production.

Key responsibilities

• Lead a core team of geoscientists and petroleum engineers to generate conceptual field development plans.
• Implement best practices for efficient evaluation, well engineering, and field development planning.
• Coordinate technical resources across Halliburton product service lines and regions.
• Ensure technical quality of evaluations and project planning is accurate and delivered on time.
• Provide oversight of assets under development and support new opportunity analyses.

Required profile

• Undergraduate degree in Geoscience, Petroleum Engineering or a related engineering discipline.
• Minimum 10 years of experience in oil and gas exploration and production.
• Experience in geoscience interpretation, reservoir/production engineering, field development, unconventional reservoirs, and technical staff supervision.
