About the role

We are seeking a native‑level Sorani language expert to translate, localize, and improve AI‑generated content. This remote, hourly contract position offers the chance to work closely with cross‑functional teams on cutting‑edge language technology projects.

Key responsibilities

• Translate and localize content between Sorani and English with cultural accuracy.
• Edit, proofread, and review AI‑generated Sorani text for quality and consistency.
• Collaborate with data teams to evaluate and enhance Sorani language datasets.
• Develop linguistic guidelines and documentation for annotation processes.
• Identify errors, provide feedback, and help improve Sorani language models.
• Communicate insights and updates clearly to cross‑functional stakeholders.

Required profile

• Native or near‑native proficiency in Sorani and strong command of English.
• Proven experience in translation, editing, or linguistic analysis.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in both languages.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently.
• Familiarity with digital tools for language editing and content management.
• Interest in AI language technologies and data annotation workflows.
