About the role
The International Labour Organization is seeking a specialist to strengthen and finalize an analytical draft report on social security court cases in Federal Iraq. The role involves extending the analysis to cover the mechanisms through which private‑sector workers pursue complaints and appeals, validating the findings with national partners, and converting the validated results into training materials.
Key responsibilities
- Upgrade the existing draft report to a publishable standard.
- Expand the analysis to include complaint and appeal procedures for workers.
- Engage with national counterparts, social partners, and EU‑UN programme stakeholders to secure validation of findings.
- Develop training modules based on validated conclusions.
- Prepare final deliverables and support dissemination activities.
Required profile
- Proven experience in legal analysis of social security or labour law, preferably within the Iraqi context.
- Familiarity with Iraq’s Pension and Social Security Law for Private Sector Workers and related case law.
- Strong report‑writing and validation skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively with international donors and national institutions.
