Senior Back-End Developer

About the role

NASS AL-Iraq Holding Group is looking for a Senior Back-End Developer to design, develop, and maintain robust, scalable backend systems. The role includes technical leadership, mentoring junior developers, and contributing to the company’s long‑term technology strategy.

Key responsibilities

• Architect scalable, distributed, high‑availability backend systems and define coding standards.
• Lead decisions on microservices, domain‑driven design, data modeling, and integration strategies.
• Engineer secure, high‑traffic APIs and implement caching, load balancing, and horizontal scaling.
• Conduct performance analysis, memory profiling, and resource optimization.
• Mentor junior and mid‑level developers and lead architecture discussions.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science or related field.
• Minimum 5 years of backend development experience with proven leadership responsibilities.
• Fluency in English and Arabic (written and spoken).
• Strong leadership, mentorship, and strategic thinking abilities.
