Procurement Manager – Dairy FMCG

About the role

The Procurement Manager will lead the sourcing and purchasing of raw materials, packaging, spare parts and equipment for a dairy manufacturing facility. The role ensures timely, cost‑effective supply while maintaining quality and food‑safety standards.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and execute procurement strategies aligned with production needs and company goals.
• Build and maintain a network of reliable local and international suppliers for raw and packaging materials.
• Negotiate prices, terms, and contracts to achieve commercial best‑outcomes.
• Oversee end‑to‑end logistics, importation and customs clearance to guarantee on‑time delivery.
• Manage procurement processes through ERP, ensuring accurate purchase orders, receipts and reporting.
• Collaborate with production, warehouse, quality, finance and maintenance teams to support seamless operations.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Procurement, Logistics, Industrial Engineering or related field.
• 5–7 years of procurement experience in dairy, FMCG or manufacturing, including supplier negotiation and logistics management.
• Proven ability to lead a procurement team and drive cost‑optimization initiatives.
• Fluent English; Arabic or Kurdish a plus.
