About the role
We are seeking a part‑time English Lecturer to join our faculty in Erbil. The successful candidate will design and deliver engaging university‑level English courses while contributing to curriculum development and student support.
Key responsibilities
- Plan, prepare and deliver lectures for undergraduate English programmes.
- Develop, update and improve academic curricula and teaching materials.
- Provide academic guidance and support to students, including tutoring and feedback.
- Assess student performance through assignments, exams and other evaluation methods.
- Participate in departmental meetings, research activities and other academic initiatives.
Required profile
- Proficiency in English teaching and lecturing at the university level.
- Experience in curriculum development and modern educational methodologies.
- Strong teaching abilities with the capacity to engage diverse learners.
- Master’s degree or higher in English, Linguistics, Education or a related field.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Commitment to fostering student growth and academic success.
- Previous higher‑education teaching experience is preferred.
