About the role
Join Novo Nordisk as a Medical Representative focused on diabetes, obesity and rare disease therapies. Based in Hillah, you will act as the key link between our innovative treatments and the healthcare professionals who prescribe them, helping improve patient outcomes across Iraq.
Key responsibilities
- Promote and sell Novo Nordisk’s diabetes, obesity and rare disease products to healthcare providers.
- Build and maintain trust‑based relationships with physicians, pharmacists and key decision‑makers in your territory.
- Develop and execute strategic territory plans to achieve sales targets and drive sustainable growth.
- Stay up‑to‑date with the latest developments in the therapeutic areas and provide market feedback to internal teams.
- Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to ensure seamless execution of sales strategies.
- Manage territory activities, including regular travel throughout Hillah to meet healthcare professionals.
Required profile
- Bachelor’s degree in pharmaceutical sciences.
- Active registration with the Iraqi Pharmacist Syndicate (mandatory).
- 1–2 years of experience as a pharmaceutical sales representative.
- Strong knowledge of the diabetes and obesity market, including key competitors and trends.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with a proven ability to build rapport.
- Demonstrated track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets.
- Ability to work independently and manage a territory effectively.
